“By Contributing To Other People’s Happiness, We Can Find The True Meaning Of Life.”

-Gerry Lopez

We are on a mission to create a variety of exciting retreats with an emphasis on celebrating community, developing friendships and increasing mental wellbeing with a purpose to help combat the epidemic of loneliness and lack of time spent in nature.

Set in rural South Devon, the retreat will take place both on Dartmoor and the coast, offering a number of adventures such as hiking, surfing, cold river swimming, as well as optional physical activities such as weight training, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and holistic practices including yoga, breathwork, and stress therapy.

The estate is a 20 min drive to Bantham Beach, Hope Cove, Salcombe and to the start of our hiking trail in Dartmoor National Park.

Experience Your Dream Wellness Weekend

Ready To Disconnect?

On arrival, you’re free to escape from the hustle and bustle of work life and dive into your deserved relaxation at our vast and luxurious 146 acre estate- the home of Wild & Salty.

We invite you into our rustic, stylish property that dates back to the doomsday period around 1067. The paintings, beds, bathrooms and furnishings are all of high quality and offer a lovely backdrop for our guests to enjoy a memorable time together.

Guests can roam within the ancient woods or relax comfortably in front of the many cosy fires.

Cold & Heat Exposure Protocols

Done correctly, deliberate cold exposure can positively affect brain and body health. Our facilitators prioritise starting slow with a breathwork practice and then preparing our guests for the release of epinephrine (aka adrenaline), an increase in metabolism and prolonged release of dopamine, in the brain and body.

Regular use of sauna can improve cardiovascular health, it may improve ones mood, help monitor and possibly repair protein structure within our cells. The integrity of protein structures is vital to our health and wellbeing.

Surfing is very spiritual, a feeling that once you ride a wave, everything makes sense.

“I personally loved the balance- I thought there was a perfect amount of downtime, it was challenging but felt no pressure to take part in everything.”

Olivia Mackenzie, London

“Wild & Salty retreats exceeded all expectations. It was amazing to take time out of the everyday, partaking in new activities, (I surprisingly loved Jiu-Jitsu), being outside in nature and having a very wholesome weekend.”

Megan Gemmill, London

“There was a lot of camaraderie during the weekend which promoted a wonderful sense of community.”
